Before establishing Nese Sozen Psychology in 2022 to practise as an independent clinician, Nese founded and Directed Drummoyne Counselling from 2013 and 2022 as a centre of excellence providing an integrated practice between psychologists, general practitioners, psychiatrists, and allied health clinicians. Drummoyne Counselling served the Drummoyne community and surrounding suburbs for over 10 years, and became an integral part of ensuring the community had access to high quality mental health care.

Nese is a Registered Counselling Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and she is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Counselling Psychologists. Nese has a Masters in Psychology in Family Therapy, a Masters in Health Education, and Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision. Nese has 30 years of experience in individual, couple, family, and relationship therapy. She has worked in mental health, alcohol, family/relationships, and corporate organisations in the capacity of a psychologist, lecturer, consultant, and supervisor. Nese has presented at national and international conferences and she has been in private practice for many years. She is committed to providing the highest quality service to her clients in order to assist them in reaching their maximum potential. She will also train, mentor and provide clinical supervision to psychologists.
